Top 3 Essential Oils to use when traveling
If you are traveling and not sure what oils to bring, below are the Top 3 Essential Oils to use when traveling.

Whether you’re traveling for a yoga retreat, workshop, training, or for a family holiday these 3 oils can fully support and enhance your travel experience, stay grounded on the go, and receive a more enjoyable experience!

As a yogi and especially if you teach, you tend to care for others with your nourishing guidance. So it’s even more important for you to engage in your self-care with these essential oils. Like many of you, my yoga mat always comes with me wherever I go as well as my oils.

Top 3 Essential Oils to use when traveling

1. Lavender: Known for its calming and balancing properties, Lavender essential oil is perfect for long journeys or to ease anxiety especially while flying.

Its soothing aroma promotes relaxation and helps create a peaceful atmosphere wherever you go. Apply a few drops to your temples, and wrists, or inhale directly from the bottle to enjoy its aromatic benefits.

2. Peppermint: Traveling can sometimes leave you feeling fatigued or experiencing digestive discomfort. That's where Peppermint essential oil comes in handy!

Its refreshing scent is invigorating, and it can help alleviate occasional digestive discomfort. Apply a drop to your temples, and neck, or add a few drops to a carrier oil for a rejuvenating massage.

3. Frankincense: For yogis seeking spiritual connection while traveling, Frankincense is a must-have oil.

Revered for its grounding and centering properties, this essential oil helps create a meditative atmosphere and supports a deep sense of relaxation. Apply a few drops to the back of your neck or diffuse it in your hotel room to enhance your yoga and meditation practice or simply place a drop on the top of your crown (my favorite way).

Frankincense oil can help you find inner peace amidst the chaos of new environments.

BONUS: Stress Away™ blend, has a lush blend of Lime, Vanilla, and other essential oils, to melt away any tension, allowing you to fully enjoy your journey.  You can place this on your wrists, the bottom of your feet, and the occiput area (base of skull) at the top of your cervical spine.

Remember, these oils are potent and versatile, so start with one drop at a time and always follow the usage instructions before using them.
